This is the BEST affordable Thai food in New York I've tried in 2024!! If it were near my home, I'd go every week! Every dish was a hit, with not a single miss. The Thai dumplings were juicy and reminiscent of dim sum, while the garlic wings were crispy and savory with a hint of Bonchon. The basil over rice featured crispy pork belly with a perfect balance of flavors, and the duck curry was rich and fruity with tender, crispy duck. The crab fried rice was wok-fried to perfection with lots of crab meat and eggs. The Thai boat noodle soup was uniquely spicy and savory, so good that we even drank all the broth! The mango sticky rice, our dessert, had sweet mango and perfectly cooked sticky rice with coconut milk. Their drinks were equally delightful, with my favorite being the addictive lychee drink, Softly Spoken. Highly recommended!!!

If you live or work in the area, then you probably know about this spot. If not, you should def come in and give them a try. They have a lunch special that includes a small appetizer for about $11. The staff is welcoming & helpful. It's always nicely decorated with fresh flowers on each table. The special drinks are really good, although I haven't tried them all.. softly spoken and summer salt are very good & refreshing esp if you like lychee or passion fruit. I've come here a few times and my go to is the spicy green bean for lunch with chicken dumplings or the Asian broccoli with crispy chicken (instead of the pork) it's spicy so proceed with caution. But it is SOO GOOD! I've also recently tried the wonton soup which is a nice appetizer as well. There's a variety of great tasting things here & you can tell the neighborhood agrees. Come and check them out, you won't be disappointed :)

First time visiting this restaurant, saw it onIG and food is yummy, they get busy with takeout so please be patient. Service is good and environment inside not fancy but nice. Will visit again.

It's taken me ages to find a spot in my neighborhood with good Tom Kha Soup, but I finally found it!!!! The crab Rangoon was a little too sweet for me but they were good too.

Duck massaman curry was my favorite dish for the night. The duck was meaty and tender and the rich flavors of the curry left a lasting impression. The shrimp curry had a unique consistency (which I believe was due to the addition of an egg) and catered perfectly to seafood enthusiasts. While the two pork belly dishes we ordered were a tad fatty and salty on their own, they paired wonderfully with rice. The fried fish, though a bit too crispy and dry for my taste, boasted excellent flavor. I would get the fish again, but will ask them to fry it for maybe 30 seconds less. Overall, a delightful culinary journey with highlights that will bring us back for more!

The chieve pancakes were so good. I got Panang curry with crispy chicken which was little bit salty but enjoyed it. Will come back again!

Ordered the boat noodles and basil pork belly. Both had good flavors and the boat noodles had a stronger flavor. Staff was very attentive and friendly as well. Ambiance was somewhat intimate as the restaurant was a bit dim but the table lights were nice. Overall would recommend in the area.

4.5 stars. Pro: - Service was excellent and although busy they moved quickly. Servers were attentive and water was refilled quickly. -Large menu with plenty of options - loved the vegetarian options, Rice Berry offered as a side - Food was great and will priced -Great drink options, including lychee Thai iced tea More my personal preference, but pork belly was very fatty and probably would go for a Leaner protein for the basil Rice next time. Plenty of indoor seating, and they do turn over tables quickly. Also strong take out service and can't wait to try more of their menu.
